Luis Hinojosa, Principal
I am Luis Hinojosa, principal of Pitcher Elementary School. I have been a middle school teacher, high school assistant principal, elementary principal, high school principal and college instructor during my educational career. I have an amazing wife and 3 awesome kids. My oldest son currently attends Johnson County Community College and is majoring in education as well. I am constantly asked, “What do you love about KCPS?”and my response has always been “the students”. We have awesome students who are brilliant, creative, passionate, tenacious, and caring. It’s my job to get that spotlight to shine on them so the world can see the powerful students we are producing at KCPS.
